SHELLAC & FOREST PRODUCTS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL, (sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India) to promote India’s exports of Shellac and Lac based products is being rechristened as SHELLAC AND FOREST PRODUCTS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL, (SHEFEXIL) - the Nodal EPC to promote exports of “Minor Forest Produce”, and the registering authority for the related exporters under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09.
