Maintaining laboratories at different centers to encourage and assist quality control at the manufacturing stage and also guiding the entrepreneurs to manufacture Lac based products and value added Shellac products, product diversification and development. To promote domestic consumption of Shellac, which is less than 20% of the total consumption.
3. FOR EXPORTERS
- Pre-shipment and post shipment inspection of exports consignments and issuance of quality certificate after laboratory analysis of samples.
- Providing up to date statistics in relation to production, exports, daily market price trends.
- Assisting and guiding interested entrepreneurs by providing technical know how for manufacturing and marketing value added shellac and Lac based products.
- Research and product development.
